Sulejów commune - the host of the World Championships in beach volleyball for the deaf !!!

From today you can officially say that. On November 15, 2019, a meeting was held in the town hall that confirmed the organization of this tournament. Włodarz Sulejowa received the nomination as the organizer from the hands of the Polish Deaf Sports Association: Wojciech Stempurski - President of the Board, Tomasz Włodarczyk - Vice President of the Board and Jarosław Janiec - Member of the Board.

In August 2020, the best deaf volleyballers in the world will play at the beach pitches at Primary School No. 1 John Paul II in Sulejów.

At the same time, the Mayor of Sulejów Wojciech Ostrowski and the Chairman of the City Council Bartosz Borkowski were awarded the commemorative medals of the 90th anniversary of the Lodz Volleyball Federation for their contribution to the development and promotion of Lodz volleyball, which was presented by Marek Hertel - President of the Board of ŁZPS. Janusz Pełka - President of the Board of the Mini Beach Volleyball Academy - a nationwide federation, which directs its activities to the youngest beach volleyball students and has its headquarters in the Sulejów commune, was also awarded.
